Introduction to Asylum Support for Women’s organisations

20 June 2019

10.15 to 12

Have you sometimes work with women who have claimed asylum? Would you like to know more about their entitlement to accommodation and financial support from the government?

Alice, the women’s legal advisor at the Asylum Support Appeals Project (ASAP), is hosting a webinar for women’s organisations on asylum seekers’ rights to support.

This introductory-level webinar, for delegates with no or limited experience working with asylum seekers, will provide an overview of the asylum support system, and equip delegates with the confidence to identify what type of asylum support a person might be entitled to.

 The training covers:

  • Housing & financial support for asylum seekers who are waiting for a final decision on their asylum claim
  • Housing & financial support for asylum seekers who have been refused asylum

What do I need to do if I’m interested?

Click here to register your interest in attending before 6th June. We will confirm places on the 7th of June.
