Pregnant Women Seeking Sanctuary Event

Stories of healing in refuge

Fleeing danger, being pregnant, or arriving in a new country, how would you cope?

Do you know how to help a pregnant asylum seeker?

For anyone who has an interest in the stories of pregnant asylum-seeking women and how they navigate towards success.

Join us from 11 am with a tour of the photographic exhibition and films where you can absorb the images and reflect on the content before world food tastings, and reflecting the country’s women have fled from. Pay what you can afford for refreshments – all donations welcome.

The afternoon will be a talk and workshop guided by Rose McCarthyfrom Maternity Sanctuary with 2-3 women and learn what it’s like to navigate our health systems whilst alone and pregnant and find healing on the journey.
